CHICO Hotel Solutions provides an easy and inexpensive mobile check-in/check-out service to the hotel industry. With CHICO installed at your hotel, all your guests need is a PC, tablet or smartphone to complete the entire check-in and check-out process.

Through Hapi, CHICO integrates with leading Hotel PMS solutions and manages the entire Check-in and Check-out process including arrival confirmation, key activation and post stay folio distribution. We recently caught up with CHICO leadership to share how their products are serving hotel and guests needs as we exit the pandemic and prepare for recovery.

Q: How are you helping the hospitality industry innovate?

A: CHICO helps the industry innovate by: 
– Providing a free 3 month product trial.
– Together with our customers we set immediate targets on results that CHICO needs to achieve for guests as well as hoteliers.
– Our product offer makes it possible for hoteliers to start small and then move all the way to providing mobile keys for guests.

Q: What do you see as the biggest trend in hospitality tech in the post-COVID era?

A: Post-Covid, we believe that the travel sector in general and hotels in particular will be much more focused on investing in tech solutions that can produce measurable and immediate results in relation to guests and operations. We will likely see less "high flying" ideas and a more "down to earth" tech investment approach.

Q: How has Hapi helped your solution and therefore your customers?

Hapi helps CHICO reach more customers through the PMS integration service. This is a big shift for us since we previously have had to manage PMS API integrations ourselves. In essence, Hapi shortens our time to market and also provides cost effective scalability of our service.
